Safey First Kids
So every now and then I like peruse the company intranet homepage to see what lame useless announcements or news is on the radar. For the past few weeks there have been strategically posted Safety annoucements reminding employess to just "remember safety." In other words, whenever a company is in on the verge of or in the middle of lay-offs or selling off its employees, or some big useless merger, it's Corporate America's way of saying "don't go kill yourself this weekend, cuz were firing you!" Thanks Corporate America, I'll be sure to slit my wrists with a butter knife instead of that pointed steak knife.
